How To Care Your Feet During Summer

Foot
The hot and sultry weather not only tans your face and hands but your feet as well. Here are a few home remedies to protect your feet from the scorching rays of the sun and keep it glowing and fair.

1. Dip your feet in lukewarm water
Take a large tub of lukewarm water and dip your feet in it. Add two tablespoons of Epsom salt and a few drops of essential oils (preferably lavender, rose or lemon for this season). Take a pumice stone and put some drops of shampoo on it and scrub it on your feet. After you’re done with this, dip your feet in fresh cold water and keep it soaked for a while. Take your feet out and dry it completely before you apply the following masks.

2. Use yoghurt
Take fresh yoghurt in a bowl and add rose water or mogra water to it. Apply it evenly throughout your feet and keep this pack for at least an hour. Wash it off and apply a soothing moisturiser.

3. Squeeze Lemon
Squeeze half a lemon in a bowl and add a few drops of rose water in it. You can also add besan to make a thick paste. Keep the paste on for approximately half an hour and then wash it off.

4. Tomatoes
Cut half a tomato and apply it on your feet. Keep it on for a while and wash it off. Tomato is a natural tan remover and also acts as bleach.
