Google To Repair The Battery-Sucking Bug In Chrome

Good news for the Google chrome loyalists. Google Chrome had a bug that used to drain all the battery from your Windows laptop.

Media reported about the bag, a few days back, highlighting that Google Chrome doesn’t return to an idle state if it’s inactive. The reason for this was system clock tick rate, and it made Chrome drain the power of your laptop. It was then that the Chrome users started thinking of using the rival browsers like Firefox or Opera, when they were short on battery.

Google issued a statement to PC World, stating that it has pushed the fault to the top of the to-do list of Chrome team to save this shift in the priorities of its users.

It is hoped that it would get rid of the bug soon, so that users can have long-lasting association with one of the most user-friendly browsers around.
