Alcatel has introduced five new devices, out of which three are smartphones and two are tablets. The three smartphones are Alcatel OneTouch Pop S3, OneTouch Pop S7, and OneTouch Pop S9 feature 4-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch displays respectively, along with a 4G LTE connectivity offering.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pop S3 features a 4-inch screen with WVGA (480×800 pixels) resolution. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core chip under the hood. The handset misses a front-facing camera but sports a 5-megapixel rear camera capable of shooting full-HD videos.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pop S7 smartphone has a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution and offers a 170 degree viewing angle. The smartphone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core chip. The OneTouch Pop S7 also includes a 5-megaixel rear and VGA front-facing shooter.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pop S9 smartphone sports a 6-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720×1280 pixel) resolution. The OneTouch Pop S9, like the OneTouch Pop S3, runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core chip..
Coming to tablets, Alcatel introduced its OneTouch Pop 7S and OneTouch PIXI 7 tablets running Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7S tablet features a 7-inch IPS LCD screen paired with 600×1024 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 170ppi.
Another tablet by Alcatel, dubbed the OneTouch PIXI 7, features a 7-inch TFT screen with qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution.
