It’s just the early days of summer and the heat is unbearable. Working out in the heat may not only drain you completely but also leave you lethargic. Here’s a few tips by which you can beat the heat while working out.

1. Be an early bird:  Exercising early morning during summers is advisable because the heat sets in quite late during the day. Thus, going out for a run or a walk around 6 or 7 in the morning is an ideal option. Late evening run is also fine if you do not have time to exercise in the morning.
2. Choose loose clothes: When you wear loose and light clothes, it helps reflect heat, making it easier for you to exercise. Choose cotton materials because they help absorb sweat better.
3. Apply sunscreen: The sunscreen will protect you from the ultraviolet rays of the sun that cause maximum damage to your skin during summers.

4. Drink enough water: Water is another way to beat the heat and drinking enough fluids keeps your system hydrated. While working out make it a point to constantly sip on water, thus you won’t lose out on essential nutrients from your body.
